Topwater did an incredible job restoring the gel coat on my boat. Just check out the before & after photos! I was honestly very skeptical about all the ads I saw claiming they could make your boat look like new, but I anm extremely impressed with the finished product. Topwater Marine Detailing absolutely crushed it!! Kyle and Kurt did such a phenomenal job on my boat it honestly looks better than when I first got it!
The level of detail they put into everything is unreal. They didn’t just hit the obvious spots, they went after all the little areas most people would miss. The finish is deep, glossy, and flawless. You can tell these guys actually care about their work and take pride in it.
They were professional, on time, and communicated throughout the whole process. No shortcuts, no rushed work, just straight quality.

Topwater Marine Detailing exceeded all expectations. Arlo, Kyle, and Kurt are an absolute powerhouse team.
From start to finish, Arlo was professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole process seamless. You can tell he runs a tight operation and genuinely cares about delivering top-tier results. Kyle and Kurt absolutely nailed it with incredible attention to detail. Every inch of the boat was dialed in.
What really stood out was the level of thoroughness. They even sent photos of the boat on the lift raised all the way up, showing everything done right, with the cover perfectly installed. These guys don’t miss a thing.

One of the best decisions I’ve made for my boat was going with Topwater Marine Detailing! Arlo, Kyle, and Kurt run an incredible operation and truly care about the end result.
After my initial detail, they got me set up with a weekly washdown plan, and I haven’t had to clean my boat once since. It’s always spotless and ready to go, which takes a huge weight off my shoulders.

Arlo and the crew at Topwater Marine absolutely worked a miracle on my 24’ Cobia. The boat had its fair share of wear, but they brought it back to life in a way I didn’t think was possible. The hull finish is incredibly smooth, the lines are crisp, and every detail was handled with precision. You can see the level of care in every inch—they didn’t just clean it up, they transformed it. I never post reviews but felt this experience warranted the effort to write this.

This review is to solely educate those on my experience with this business. One bad experience doesn’t mean that is what everybody will experience. This review is not written with ill-intention whatsoever.

Charged $1,500 for  a detail on a 21 Hewes. I’m more than happy to pay a premium price for a premium product/job. However, this was not the case. Took a chunk out of my brand new seadek while wet sanding and went through the gel coat causing a hairline crack on a recently repaired area. (Yes wet sanding can do this when the disk is angled in a particular direction). Proceeded to tell me it’s only cosmetic and I have to pay for it. Did not detail trailer as agreed, left rust spots everywhere and told me those won’t come out. Proceeded to show him (the professional) how to remove rust stains with minimal effort. He still did not do it. Very mediocre job. Most areas on the boat looked as if he wiped it with a wet dirty rag and called it a day.

Did attempt to come back and make it right, but     once again proved incapable. The hull and fenders are  the only clean and shiny part of the boat and look great, but not worth $1,500!!

Would say he did try to do the right thing regarding the detail, but did not agree to pay for the damage he caused.

He gave a heavy discount which is appreciated. So I respect that.

I’m sure he’s done a great job for other customers and this was probably a one-off situation. A very very disappointing situation

1st picture is the before. Hull and trailer was already shiny. I’m anticipating a reply from him on this with pictures of the job. Not hard to make a shiny boat shiny.

Last picture is the estimate with the services to be completed. Did not happen.
