SERVICE AGREEMENT

Terms of Service
This service agreement between Topwater Marine Detailing (“Topwater”) and the client (“boat owner” or “client”) is ongoing but can be canceled at any time by either party. We respectfully request at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Topwater Marine Detailing (hereafter “Topwater”) agrees to provide boat detailing and interior cleaning services at the agreed-upon rate. The quoted rate reflects estimated detailing time and may be adjusted after the initial appointment based on your boat’s specific requirements. For typical boats under 30 feet, initial detailing appointments can exceed 8 hours, while regular maintenance sessions often average 3-5 hours.

All scheduling and appointments are contingent upon weather conditions, unforeseen delays, or circumstances beyond our control. Any modifications to scheduling or pricing, whether communicated verbally or in writing, will adhere to these terms.

Quality Assurance

Topwater is committed to delivering exceptional service. If you are unsatisfied with any aspect of your detailing, notify us within 24 hours, and we will promptly address the issue during your next scheduled service. We do not offer refunds or discounts but guarantee corrections of any oversights or missed services.

Our Detailing Team

All detailing team members are professional employees of Topwater, fully trained and insured, including workers’ compensation. We provide all necessary detailing supplies and equipment, ensuring high-quality, professional results.

Training & Team Expertise

Our experienced detailing specialists receive comprehensive training and are supervised directly by the owner. Our team’s consistent quality ensures your boat receives meticulous care every visit.

Client Preparation

To ensure optimal detailing efficiency, we request that your boat is accessible and cleared of personal items or obstructions prior to our arrival. If extra time is required due to the removal of personal belongings, additional charges may apply.

Boat Accessibility & Security

Please ensure access to your boat, including dock entry or marina gate codes, is arranged beforehand. If your boat has a security system, provide instructions to disarm it before our arrival.

Damage Disclaimer

Topwater exercises the utmost care when detailing your vessel. However, we cannot accept responsibility for existing damage, improper installations, structural deterioration, oxidation, corrosion, or normal wear and tear associated with the age and usage of your boat.

In the unlikely event of accidental damage by our team, we will immediately notify you and cooperate fully to resolve the situation promptly and fairly.

Service Timing

Billing for hourly services begins upon our arrival and concludes upon completion of detailing services, inclusive of setup and cleanup time. Standard detailing appointments typically require a window of up to 8 hours; we may extend this by up to 2 hours to ensure thorough completion.

Weather Policy

In severe or inclement weather, we reserve the right to reschedule services for safety and quality reasons. You will be promptly notified if rescheduling is necessary.

Special Requests

For specific or extensive detailing requests, please inform Topwater at least 48 hours in advance so we can accommodate your needs and adjust scheduling accordingly. Estimates provided remotely are subject to adjustment upon on-site inspection.

Payments

Payment is due immediately upon completion of services. Jobs exceeding $1,000 require a 50% deposit upfront. Returned checks incur a $30 fee. For convenience, we accept payment by cash, check or electronic payment platforms Zelle and Venmo. Any payments requiring collection action will incur reasonable attorney fees, court costs, and associated expenses.

Referral Program

Topwater values referrals and offers a client referral incentive. When you refer a new client to us, you’ll receive a discount credited to your next detailing after the new client’s initial service is completed and payment received.

Supplies & Equipment

Topwater supplies all detailing products, tools, and equipment necessary to professionally service your boat. Our detailing supplies are selected to effectively clean without causing damage.
